Job Description:

The incumbent in this position supervises scientists/technicians which analyze drinking water, surface water, ground water and hazardous waste samples for inorganic compounds by approved methods.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

Familiarity with Drinking Water, Water Quality and Hazardous Waste sample analyses.

Familiarity with laboratory instrument maintenance.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a physical or natural science from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience at the lower level Chemical/Material Analyst 3 (LSP032) or equivalent position.
