Business Support Analyst II
The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) is seeking qualified candidates for the assignment of Business Support Analyst II serving in the Program Management Office.
Under direct supervision, the qualified individual will:
• Lead and coordinate business analysis activities across multiple projects, ensuring business requirements, stakeholder needs, and project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Mentor junior analysts by providing guidance, reviewing work, and supporting their professional development.
• Train new employees on business processes, systems, reporting tools, and standard operating procedures.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and technical staff in implementation and development of business process automation.
• Eliciting and documenting stakeholder business requirements.
• Coordinating and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Generating, analyzing, and distributing lobby management performance reports.
• Developing and distributing internal Manager’s Bulletins.
• Developing end-to-end process maps.
• Traveling to various CSCs across the state in support of the agency's operational and customer service goals.

• Ability to exercise various latitudes of independent judgment.
The PMO offers a career development path designed to support the development and growth of our Business Support Analysts (BA).
This career path includes a 5% salary increase after the first year and an additional 5% increase after the second year with a title change to Business Support Analyst III.
Note: all salary increases and progression in title (i.e.) promotion are based on conduct and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND two (2) years of experience related to area of assignment;
OR
- One (1) year of experience required at the lower level Business Support Analyst 1 (GSP130).
- Bachelor's degree in business or related fields from an accredited college or university AND One (1) year of experience related to the area of assignment.
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, have:
• At least one (1) year of experience eliciting and developing business requirements documentation for systems and/or business processes.
• At least two (2) years of experience planning and conducting meetings and/or presentations
