CPS-AD Director - McIntosh Trail ARSC-VINE 8-5 M-F

  • Providing daily oversight and supervision of the daily operations of the recovery support center ensuring the following factors are in place at all times, cultural and linguistic competence, social marketing, self- advocacy, job coaching opportunities, individualized recovery-focused engagement activities, social support, linkage to and coordination among other service providers and whole health and wellness activities.
  • Director will set up meetings with community partners such as DFACS, Healthy Start, AA/NA groups, churches , LOCC and other community partners to develop needs and offer support.
  • Marketing/ Communication for ensuring that assertive outreach is provided to identify and engage those in need of recovery by offering recovery education and coaching for individual/ family.
  • The director will lead team meetings with Peer Specialists (CPS-AD) to ensure that all aspects of the VINE are fully implemented by team members and conduct regular self- inventory of personal and organizational performance.
  • Attend all collaborative convened by Georgia Council on Substance Abuse. 

NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:

Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record 
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.

Bachelor's degree in a social services related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience in a social services related position, with at least one year in a supervisory role OR High school diploma or GED AND Four years of experience in a social services related position, One year of which in a supervisory role OR One year of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Tech 3 (SST012) or position equivalent.
