Adult Education Teacher-Bulloch
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Ogeechee Technical College is seeking a Part-Time Adult Education-Bulloch that will provides evening instruction in academic areas (reading, writing, English, and mathematics) for all assigned students. (This position will be located in Bulloch County 2:00p – 7:00p.). Major duties include:
- provides instruction in academic areas (reading, writing, English, and mathematics) for all assigned students
- A main purpose of the position is to work with students immediately following orientation to ensure a more focused transition into classes and assist with increasing enrollment and retention
- The instructor will prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports
- The instructor will plan, organize, and participate in staff development and team conferences, maintain a secure classroom environment and assist with recruitment and retention efforts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with adult learners
- Previous instructional experience to include teacher preparation, instruction, instructional methodologies, evaluation and assessment
- Previous classroom management experience
