Position: Adjunct Precision Manufacturing and Maintenance Instructor/Tester

FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
Nature of Duties: Under general supervision, evaluates employee skill levels by administering hands on and written assessments in mechanical and electrical areas. Contract training will include training in Precision Manufacturing and Maintenance area which includes Industrial Systems and courses related to manufacturing processes. Training will be in a classroom/lab/field environment that closely simulates the environment of the industry while maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field. Provides instruction in practical applications of Precision Manufacturing. Requires some computer skills, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications: (Candidates must meet all minimum qualifications to be considered)
- Associate’s Degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Precision Manufacturing or related field such as Advanced or Industrial Manufacturing from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in precision manufacturing field
- 2 years of evaluating mechanical and electrical skill using written and hands on assessments.
